I've turned my grocery store trips into a Journey into the Land of "No". Fully 90% of what is in the store is Not Food, or as Michael Pollan put it: 'edible foodlike substances'. I've become an 'edge'-shopper- getting the things around the edge of the store- milk, eggs, some meats, and lots of vegetables. I do get frozen veggies, but generally tend to avoid all the convenience foods and pre-made meals.
