I spent the weekend with family cleaning up Beaners' mess behind the shed and across the back patio and the additional mess his dogs made dragging things out of the shed and shredding them, plus cleaning up all the tree prunings and downed limbs from last winter's storms.

I chipped lots and lots of small twigs and branches to make tree ring mulch for the pecan tree, and to set aside mulch for the dwarf fruit orchard I plan to put in where Beaners' mess once was behind the shed.

And now my yard is clean enough for hiring someone else to mow the lawn this summer.
