Oh,dear. The list is absurdly long.
I "drowned" when I was 6 - trapped under water for 13 minutes, according to the rescuers. I recall being able to breathe under the water. It was thick and cold and made my breath smell fishy for a week after.
That's the first accident I recall.
I've already told y'all about driving off a cliff in the Hartz Mountains.
Y'all know about the duck in the thigh, the Lye Incident, the falling through the ceiling, the tandem skateboard incident, the buttered floor incident, the centrifuge mishap, the Berlin Wall mishap, the Italian Incident, the Danube River crossing, the I-40 Bridge collapse and clean-up with the dead horse, the Murrah Building bit, and quite a few more.
None of these accidents were intentional - I live an active life and I'm always up for fun or a challenge or new experiences.
I'mjust amazed that half this stuff didn't kill me but not even acute terminal cancer could leave so much as a visible scar.
My sister asked me if I had a "bucket list" - a list of things I wanted to do before I died.
It's a short list since I've already done so much. I'd like to have one of my fiction novels published. It would be nice to have something I wrote published under my name.
And I'd like to walk across the US,visiting all the continental states - and blog about it.
