Ebony's Pearls

With the go-ahead, I've gotten the supplies out of storage, refurbished some of it, purchased new bowls, plates, cups,flatware, chocolates, fiddly toys, the full complement of Hebrew Nationals and enough vacuum bags to seal them all up, sodas and bottled water (love those Memorial Day Sales!), and some freezable ice blankets for the ice chests.

Most of the rest of what I need to get are perishables and those can wait.

My mushroom man says he has some nice 'shrooms that will be ready then.

One of my minions suggested I make macaroni and cheese and seal it like I will the spaghetti because it would go well with the chili and give guests more options.

It's not fancy fare, but it's all real food: chili, spaghetti, mac and cheese, all made from scratch, Hebrew National hot dogs (I found a source for gluten-free buns), organic deli meats and cheeses, fresh fruits and veggies, and Fritos (which are gluten-free,so those who have gluten intolerances can have hot Frito pies as well as lettuce wraps).

There will be some junk food in there - Ho-Hos, Ding Dongs, Twinkies, Moon Pies, and chocolates - 'cause sometimes, you just need a sugar rush.

My minions have all checked in and I may have some new minions.
