She's a beauty! I fostered a clingy-cat once, and it broke my heart to give her up. She used to wrap her forelegs around my neck and nurse on my neck so much I got hickies, and I couldn't bring myself to stop her because it made her so forlorn that she'd nurse on herself and give herself bald patches.
None of my own cats want me to hold them. When they were kittens, I did my best to ensure that they'd be assertive and independent, and maybe it worked too well. They are fearless and into everything, obey only because they choose to (and let me know this by making eye contact as they deliberately violate a rule), and while they're very affectionate, they get their cuddles and then saunter away. :p
Oh well, this was my first batch. After they die and I mourn them and recover, I'll need a fresh litter and I can raise those with the experience I've gained from the first.
