Amen.

Profit is all well and good, but when making profits outweighs people's lives, liberty, and health - life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness - it is wrong. People's rights trump profits, the good of society must outweigh the good of the shareholders. That's why we have taxes, public police and fire departments, the post office, and other public services. Trying to "privatize" these things means service will decrease and profit for the few, not public benefit for all, will rule.
