My daughter took your comment about wanting to try The Green Goddess in New Orleans to heart and had breakfast there one day last week while she was there.
I put the pictures of her breakfast behind a cut to save friends' lists, so if you want to see her breakfast cocktail, entree, and dessert, you'll need to
The entree was French Toast stuffed with cherries and chevre - and beware the cherry pits! They use fresh cherries.
She finished the meal with a sparkling Meyer Lemon parfait with Marionberry puree and crumbled Italian cookies.
She said if she lived in New Orleans, she'd definitely eat there again. The people were friendly, the food was adventurous and tasty, and the ambiance was "just right".
Thank you,
theferrett, for pointing this hidden gem of a restaurant out. It helped make a special birthday vacation to the French Quarter extra special. I hope you get a chance to eat there when you visit New Orleans.

She started her breakfast with a breakfast cocktail composed of lychee, ginger beer, ginger syrup, and muddled mint done in a julep style. She said it was "hairy" but very tasty.
