The Starbucks by our house has probably the best customer service anywhere. They are always cheery and they emit a genuine cheeriness no false undertones. They also will give me bags of grounds for my garden and composter.

We go there on average about once or twice a week but I prefer to buy beans from my local coffee shop where they are roasted in store and make my neighborhood smell good on a Saturday morning. If only she had a drive thru window.

Oh and I like dark roast and steaks very rare.

what does coffee grounds do for the garden? i've heard of this before but have never been quite sure why it was supposed to be a good thing.

it adds nitrogen to the soil so its good just sprinkled around your plants or put in a composter. Acts as a natural fertilizer. It also attracts earthworms which are really good garden helpers. :)

i garden in containers (and get way too much fun over calling it 'pot gardening') - so i can't really do anything about earthworms. but i do know a great source of coffee grounds, heh. (my building is full of engineers, they drink coffee like cops.)

thanks!
