1. What is in the back seat of your car right now?

Visibly? 2 blankets, 1 gallon of water, an ice scraper, a broom, 5 fabric shopping bags, bread crumbs.

2. When was the last time you threw up?

30-40 years ago, or something like that. Could be longer.

3. What's your favorite curse word?

Pookah puppies. Lots of opportunity to make “puh!” sounds.

4. Name 3 people who made you smile today?

It’s Sandwich Saturday, there were several dozen people who made me smile, but I don’t know the names of most of them. They were hungry and got sandwiches and were cheerful inspite of being homeless in the rain. I gave out cheap umbrellas and sheets of heavy plastic drop cloths they could use to stay dry with their sandwiches. A lot of them still had the blankets I gave out earlier.

5. What were you doing at 8 am this morning?

Coming home after distributing sandwiches.

6. What were you doing 30 minutes ago?

Washing dishes.

7. What will you be doing 3 hours from now?

Cooking dinner.

8. Have you ever been to a strip club?

A child of mine was once a stripper, and I went several times to drop her off and stay for a coffee or pick her up. I helped her choose a stripper bar that would treat her well, so we went into a lot of them together for a while there.

9. What is the last thing you said aloud?

“That’s not how you blow up a toilet!”

10. What is the best ice cream flavor?

Vanilla, because you can customize it so many different ways.

11. What was the last thing you had to drink?

Water

12. What are you wearing right now?

Sweats and a T-shirt for cleaning.

13. What was the last thing you ate?

Chicken soup.

14. Have you bought any new clothing items this week?

No, but I was in a fabric store looking at fabrics for a new cloak since my 35 year old cloak wandered away last year.

15. When was the last time you ran?

I don’t run. Jog, trot, caper...but no running.

16. What's the last sporting event you watched?

Ummmm - I’ve never watched a sporting event, even when I was present at them as a security guard.

17. What sport do you prefer to play?

As in 16., I don’t care for sports. I like games, though, and I’ve played cricket, croquet, bocce balls, rat pucky, and fetch with the dogs.

My ex, talking about one of the kids.

Yup.

20. Do you have a tan?

Don’t need a tan, I’m naturally colored.

21. Do you prefer your hair long or short?

I like a variety of lengths. I’ve had my hair down to calf-length, and I’ve been bald and been comfortable at all the lengths in between.

22. Do you bite your nails?

I used to, then one day I just stopped. I have no idea why.

23. Do you have rodents as pets?

Nope, but oddly enough, I have a dwarf hamster and a white lab rat in cages in my living room. They aren’t mine, but I feed them and water them, and buy litter for them. They aren’t mine.

24. Do you drink your soda from a straw?

I like straws. I’ll drink almost any iced beverage through a straw.

I don’t IM.

26. Are you someone's best friend?

I dunno. I haven’t asked. I’m friends with quite a few people.

Sewing for MedFaire, writing, cooking.

In her columbarium in the cemetery, I should hope.

Another computer station, books, the front door.

I don’t have a watch.

31. What do you think of when you think of Australia?

Island, aborigines, DreamTime, desert, kangaroos, wallabys. Eucalyptus, koalas, prison colony, botany bay, pirates, sharks, Reckless Kelly, bad hospitals, walk-abouts.

32. Would you consider plastic surgery?

Only as reconstructive surgery after some accident, but not for cosmetic purposes.

34. Do you go in at a fast food place or just hit the drive thru?

Until I can fix the window the mechanic jammed last time I took it in for tire rotation and oil change, I have to go in. I prefer the drive through.

None, but I have 8.

I have a hearing ear dog, and there are three other dogs that live at my place, but they aren’t mine.

I don’t have a phone.

Yes.

Reading, writing, cooking, cleaning, sewing.

Americentric, eh? 2. But I’ve lived in 7 countries other than the US.

Yes.

In front of the computer.

No heater and a cold house.

I don’t hear well, so I don’t listen to music.

Road repair chemicals and roofing tar.

My feet are a weird size so I have to have my shoes custom made. I can only afford one pair at a time, so by default, that’s my favorite pair of shoes I wear all the time.

No.

No one’s said anything.

Creeping up on the Equinox.

Surprisingly, at my age, no.

Mostly.

Work

Nope. Too much work.

Some variant thereof, sure.

Very.

59. Have you ever been to Six Flags?

I worked at the Six Flags Over Texas Amusement Park in Arlington back in the 70's, when it really was an amusement park and not an advertisement.

60. How did you get one of your scars?

I slapped a cockroach once and had to have 16 surgeries to fix my hand afterwards. The scars are teeny tiny lines visible only in certain lights because the surgeons were outstanding people.
