Yanno, I know they’re out there. I’m sure I’ve probably seen hundreds of them. After all, I live in a part of the country that prides itself on its machismo. I bet my brother has a pair dangling from every vehicle he owns, and my brother in law would if my sister would let him. My youngest doesn’t only because he’s been in Iraq since this became available, but I bet he’ll have a pair for his truck , his jeep, and his bride’s car as soon as he gets back to the states. He’d probably love it if I sent him a pair to hang on his tank – it’s just the sort of thing soldiers (of any gender – my Army daughter-in-law, for example) would love.

All that said, I haven’t actually noticed any. I guess it’s because I don’t waste my time looking for things that will offend me.

Honestly, there are way more important things to pay attention to on the road - like the idiot cutting me off in traffic because he's too busy texting to drive.

I *hate* those. I always think "oh, gee, how nice that they have found a pair because they certainly don't have any of their own if they have to make such an uncouth, overt display". We have one of those idiots who lives in a building that shares a parking lot with my home. One of these days I'm going to get some really fluffy, bright pink lace and tie it in a big bow around the pair hanging from his red pickup truck.

I reckon it's like those people who hang flags off their car windows, or put those antenna ornaments on their cars, or shoe polish game slogans on their car windows - it's no skin off my nose and it makes them happy. I guess I'm too old to get all worked up over ornaments, however tacky or tasteless.

*snicker* The other day I saw a Mustang that had a pair of what looked like golf balls suspended in a pair of cut down kneehighs, dangling from the rear bumper. I thought maybe it was a woman displaying trophies of her conquest... :p
