If you're an invited guest of SoonerCon 2008, please let me know what you'd like to see in the Green Room and I will do my best to accommodate your wishes/needs.

Behind the cut is a list of what will be there.

Sandwich fixings:

whole wheat bread
white bread
deli slice beef, turky, and ham
deli slice cheddar, provolone, and baby swiss
sliced tomatoes
sliced pickles
lettuce already broken into leaves
sliced radishes
sliced cucumbers
ketchup, mayonnaise (soy-free), mustard, dill mustard, wasabi, and ranch dressing

Fruits

bananas
grapes
berries
tangerines/clementines

Snacks

chips
pretzels
mini candy bars
homemade cookies: chocolate chip, oatmeal, and Wookie Cookies, at least

Beverages

iced tea - sweet and unsweetened
Diet Sodas (but not as many as last year - there were 3 cases of diet sodas left over!): Diet Dr. Pepper, Diet Coke, Diet Pepsi. No one drank any of the other diet sodas at all, so if you want a diet soda other than these 3, you have to let me know.
Sodas in cans: Dr. Pepper, 7-Up, Root Beer, Coca Cola
Bottled beverages: Mountain Dew, water, flavored vitamin waters, orange juice, cran-raspberry juice
Coffee - no liked the decaf last year, so this year, I won't have any unless someone specifically asks for it. It will once again be Raven's Brew coffee: Mahagony Suite, Resurrection Blend, and debuting Papua New Guinea's Cup of Paradise. All coffee is Fair Trade and Organic.

Breakfast

Omelettes - last year the omelettes were extremely popular and are back again this year. Plain omelettes, omelettes with veggies or meat in them - all made fresh on demand. The omelettes are best eaten hot, but they're still pretty good when they've cooled off.
cinnamon rolls
fruit
cornbread
croissants
butter, jams, Nutella

Dinner

Chili
hot dogs - Hebrew National or Nathan's or some other all beef variety - in individual bags so the hot dogs don't get waterlogged - buns and condiments available
Hot Bagged Foods (I got this idea from - of all places - the Target Snack Bar!): chicken noodle soup, spaghetti sauce with meatballs, separate bags of pasta, macaroni and cheese, roasted red pepper and tomato soup

Non-food Amenities

First Aid Kit
Sewing Kit
Germ-X
Hand Lotion
Handi-Wipes
Tissues
Saline solution
pads of paper and pens
Little Fiddly Finger Toys ( you may keep these if you want)
Map of Hotel with Program Rooms Highlighted (a big hit last year!)
Programming Schedule
Wall O' Notes - giant paper on the wall to scribble notes on - several Yard Dog folks asked for this)
Larger clock (several guests asked for this)
Recycling bins - we sort of had this last year but all the recyclables went into one bag and were sorted out later. This year, there will be separate bins for cans, plastic bottles, paper, compostables, and other.

If there's anything else you might need or would like stocked in the Green Room for your use, please let me know.

The Green Room is funded by the OKCNaNoWriters and contributions from last year (thanks guys!). It exists with the permission of Jerry Wall, the Chair of SoonerCon. And most especially, it exists for the benefit of the invited guests of SoonerCon 2008.

Oh, and one last thing, I have a cell phone now. Itzl has been trained to alert on the ringtone for it so I can actually answer it. I'll give all of you the number in case you find yourself needing something but can't get away from your panel or program activity. Just call me and I'll send a minion to take care of you.

I'm still undecided as to whether I'll go this year, but I'll give a donation. I had more fun in the green room than in the actual con. Maybe I should sign up just to go to Rocky Horror.

Hebrew National is teh win.

I think there should be a sign or something announcing the OKCNaNoWriters. A big garish green sign. :)

Unless something drastic happens, I am going to have so many tomatoes this year that I can probably supply them for you. LOL ... I think I started too many plants. You want a tomato plant?

Sure. I had to wait to put in new raised beds until this weekend because of unexpected expenses (fence, car's starter, and painting the house), so my garden is late getting started. Fortunately, we have a very long growing season.
