Long Day Tomorrow

Tomorrow is a normal working day, the usual 10 hours.

What's unusual about tomorrow is that every single person qualified to relieve me for breaks and lunch won't be there.

That means I will have to work a 10 hour shift with no breaks.

At least I'm allowed to eat at my desk so I don't also have to skip meals.

Wonder how bad Thursday will be?

You have my sincere empathy. If I were there, I'd relieve you myself- or just hang out so you wouldn't be by yourself. Of course, being online, you're not alone, but still, a physical presence is always good.

I have the next five days off, with Friday courtesy of the Governor. I think I'll get into Looney Tunes territory sometime Friday, unless I occupy myself with a Project.

Itzl is good company, at least. My cats are my company, but my youngest one is learning to tolerate strangers. I had to laugh at his behavior last Sunday- the battle between his shyness with strangers and his extraverted personality was very visible to watch.
