Last time I visited my sister in Texas, we went to World Market, which is what Pier One wants to be. I purchased a number of things there I can't get here and didn't want to buy online. I bought a nice spice box, one for measuring out the spices to use in a meal, kind of like a paint palette for seasonings, and a portable spice cabinet,a couple of different sizes of spice saute pans, some wok tools that even the Asian stores here don't carry, and a set of tagines. I now have a nice clay tagine large enough to cook a meal for 6, and a set of condiment-sized tagines for serving
I've delayed using the tagine until I had my new stove fully calibrated in.
Today,I am using that tagine to cook a lovely chicken, sweet tomato, and tangerine tagine. It's simmering slowly now. I'll serve it with a lentil and tomato pilaf and a bright, lemony cucumber tomato salad.
And then tonight,I take my last step to being certified as a paranormal investigator. I've passed the personality assessment (they said I was little too passive, however, I see no reason to rap out orders or impose my will when people will do what needs to be done naturally - at least my friends do) and the written exam. Now I have to do a case study, and once that's approved, it's done.
I haven't decided if I will pursue the leader's certification course. I prefer a self-paced course because I'm pretty fast. This course was supposed to take six weeks, and I completed it in 2 weekends.
I also discovered both a cryptozoology certification course and a UFO certification course, but neither offer even a hint of accreditation, so I am not spending as much as they're asking for a piece of paper I can create myself on my computer. I already know quite a bit about Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas cryptozoology and cryptobotany.
Maybe I should offer online certification for $100, too?
