It's 20 degrees cooler today than yesterday. Still hot, but not lethally so.
Yesterday at this time my outdoor thermometer registered 107, today it's 87.
I like hot weather. The upper 80's to 100 is fine by me as long as the humidity is low. The higher the humidity, the cooler I prefer it.
If the humidity is too high,I often run the cooler just to dry the interior air.
Of course, with furry critters living here, I try not to let the interior temperature exceed 82.Even that's pushing it with the ferret.78 is the coolest indoor temperature I maintain artificially. If it's cooler outside, why that's a chance to turn the coolers off and open windows and doors.
For today, the cooler temp made the reading of the Declaration much more comfortable.
Now,it's feast time - to show America's multi-ethnic roots, we will have jambalaya, German potato salad, French baguettes, Italian grilled pizza, grilled ostrich, buffalo kebabs, vegemite appetizers and gazpacho, apple pie, curried peas, Asian coleslaw, and a mixed fruit salad.
The critters get rice, cottage cheese, and chicken.
