Ebony's Pearls

My thermometer under the redbud tree shows 114 degrees.

It's too hot to do anything.

This is one of he few days each summer that I wish my car had air conditioning in it.

The dogs got ice blankets to lie on, with shade and a breezy spot in the car,so they did OK.

I took the route home with both the least traffic and the fewest stops so we could keep moving and keep a breeze going over the dogs.

I'm glad it's only a half hour drive.
