Grimalkin Update

I'm sorry to say Grimalkin didn't survive. The diagnosis was cancer, the prognosis grim and painful, and he was euthanized. My deepest condolences go to Grimmie's people.

On a more pragmatic note, I don't know if they received enough donations to pay the final vet bill, which was only $134 (rounded up to the nearest dollar), so I plan to donate a bit more, just in case. Those who donated, please know that you helped make Grimmie's last day a much better one than it would otherwise have been and helped ease his passing. Thank you for being generous.

We did have more than enough. Thank you, ma'am, and everyone else here who helped with donations or even just Good Thoughts.

We're both wiped out and need to rest. This would have been tough enough even without...but no. I'll let that go here.

I'll post something about how he went in a few days maybe. I'm frickin' toast right now.

Oh, good that you had enough. I worried about all y'all - Grimmie and you guys and the other kitties.

Take care and ignore those nasty people. I pity them their teeny vicious lives, for they will never know anything beyond the feeding frenzy of a shark, while we are the squids.
