And then, while baking a blackberry cobbler, the oven decided that instead of baking at 350, it would set to bake *and* broil simultaneously, non-stop. Nothing actually caught on fire, but the blackberries - hand picked and canned - were nothing but carbon, and I'm just going to toss the casserole ('s Corningware, the cornflower blue pattern, and that's always showing up at thrift stores).

Yesterday's dinner was curried chicken salad.
Then there were snickerdoodles.

Nothing actually caught on fire, but the blackberries - hand picked and canned - were nothing but carbon, and I'm just going to toss the casserole ('s Corningware, the cornflower blue pattern, and that's always showing up at thrift stores).
